Responsible AI Policy

This DG Matrix Responsible AI Policy ("Policy") governs your use of our artificial intelligence and machine learning services, features, and functionalities, including third-party models (collectively referred to as "AI/ML Services"). This Policy supplements the DG Matrix Acceptable Use Policy.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use, or allow others to use, DG Matrix AI/ML Services for any of the following purposes:

  • Disinformation & Deception: Creating or spreading intentional disinformation or deceptive content.
  • Privacy Violations: Engaging in unauthorized tracking, surveillance, or identification that infringes upon the privacy rights of individuals.
  • Unauthorized Representation: Depicting or mimicking a person's voice, image, or likeness without proper consent or legal rights, including impersonation and non-consensual explicit content.
  • Harm to Minors: Facilitating any form of harm or exploitation of minors, including grooming or child sexual abuse material.
  • Harassment & Harm: Targeting individuals or groups with harassment, abuse, or content encouraging harm.
  • Safety Circumvention: Bypassing or attempting to disable safety filters and security measures or prompting models to operate in ways that breach this Policy.
  • Autonomous Lethal Functions: Developing or enabling AI/ML systems to perform lethal actions within weapons without direct human oversight or authorization.

Responsible AI Practices

When using DG Matrix AI/ML Services for consequential decisions—those that may significantly affect an individual's rights, health, or safety—you are required to:

  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate the potential risks associated with your use case.
  • Human Oversight: Implement appropriate human monitoring and intervention mechanisms.
  • Use-Case Specific Safeguards: Apply rigorous testing and safeguards tailored to your specific application to mitigate potential harm.

Consequential decisions include, but are not limited to:

  • Medical diagnostics
  • Judicial or legal proceedings
  • Access to essential benefits (e.g., housing, government support)
  • Critical opportunities (e.g., education, employment decisions)
  • Financial services (e.g., lending or creditworthiness assessments)
  • Professional advice (e.g., legal, financial, or medical guidance)

Upon request, you must provide DG Matrix with information detailing how you intend to use our AI/ML Services and demonstrate compliance with this Policy.

User Responsibility

You and your end users are fully responsible for:

  • Decisions & Actions: All decisions made, actions taken, and advice given based on AI/ML outputs.
  • Content Evaluation: Reviewing and verifying AI-generated outputs for accuracy, reliability, and appropriateness to your specific use case.

Please note that DG Matrix AI/ML Services utilize probabilistic models that may occasionally produce inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate content.

Legal Compliance

It is your obligation to ensure that your use of DG Matrix AI/ML Services complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including AI-specific regulations such as the EU AI Act.

Policy Enforcement

DG Matrix reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any violations of this Policy, as outlined in our Acceptable Use Policy.
